3-5-7 Poker is a table game played in some casinos. It is not a poker game and requires no skill or experience. The player starts by making a bet (before cards are dealt) on a three-card and a five-card hand. A third bet on the seven-card hand is permitted as well. The dealer then gives three cards to each player at the table, and four face-down community cards. Players can then decide to give up on the seven card bet, if one was made. The dealer keeps half, and the player keeps the other half.

The three-card hands are paid similar to three-card poker, but without the rule about dealer qualification. Any pair or better wins even money. Three of a kind is paid at 25:1. Flushes and straights are at 4:1 and 6:1 respectively. Pay tables for five-card and seven-card hands are set in a similar way. In fact, the five-card hand payout table is usually the same as for Let it Ride.

Then the dealer reveals two community cards. The five-card hand is then formed and settled. Likewise, with the two remaining community cards, the seven-card hand is formed and settled.

Like all table games, the house keeps an edge in this game. But the edge is minimized by a strategy that never surrenders and always plays the seven-card hand. That is because the house edge is lowest on the seven card hand. Minimizing the bet on the five-card hand is rational, as the house edge is highest on it. The figures are: three-card, -3.49%; five-card, -4.12%; seven-card, -3.28%.
