Licensed in the Netherland Antilles, BeTheDealer (bethedealer.com) claims to have been the first to offer gaming software with peer-to-peer functionality in a downloaded gaming solution. In P2P, players are able to choose their role: you could play the traditional role and compete against the system dealer or against a peer, or you could take on the role of the dealer. Their software is proprietary, but we have no negative information to report regarding the software itself. The problems with BeTheDealer seem to be on the management side.

Players beware, beginning around 2008 the company started having financial difficulties and stopped paying employees, advertisers, and gamers. Its website was also shut down. A number of “promise to pay” and subsequent “non-payment” woeful reports have been made on the company and it is currently blacklisted by numerous online gaming watchdogs including Vegas 365.

Some of BeTheDealer’s offspring include the following websites:

777Dealer.com
EuropeBetClub.com
CasinoRoyaleTbilisi.com
GoldBetClub.com
VipBetStar.com
PlayAsDealerCasino.com
WinAsDealer.com

As of May, 2011 bethedealer.com is dead - players and affiliates unpaid, emails unanswered. Who knows where they will pop up again. If they do, it would be best to avoid this dodgy outfit. A sure candidate for everyone's blacklist.
