Railroad Pass
With a name like Railroad Pass, you’d expect it to be a something of a beat up old man. In fact, Railroad Pass is the oldest casino in Vegas, established in 1931, but you’ll find this venerable hub has managed to keep up with the times.
Railroad Pass still keeps its small town feel. You won’t find a frantic atmosphere here like in some casinos. At Railroad Pass you can relax, chat with the friendly staff and enjoy a much more comforting atmosphere. Here you’ll find a small and smoky casino, with only 12,803 Square Feet. You won’t get lost and you won’t have to walk far. After all, all kinds of people come to Vegas, but not everyone’s into the glitz, glamour, high-rolling, in-your-face attitude of the Strip.
Appealing especially to guests who have been coming for years, or even decades, Railroad Pass offers Tuesday senior deals, including discounted meals and gift shop discounts for those over 55.
Railroad Pass proudly offers classic games at shockingly low prices with over six tables to choose from. Play craps for as low as $1. Roulette for only $2. Blackjack and Texas Hold’Em cost $3.
Railroad Pass also includes the latest Pai Gow Poker, video poker, video slot and multi-game machines. Over 340 slot machines are available.
There’s also Leroy’s Race and Sports Book, found on the east end of the casino floor where you can place daily line bets, futures, parlays, teasers, and propositions on all the major horse races and boxing bouts.
There are two televisions in the sports book kiosk and two flat screen TVs in the bar. Sip cocktails and enjoy the buffet while you root for your favorite team. Leroy also offers a free Pick’em and Win football contest.
If you’re looking for more variety, you’ll have to head over to the strip for specialty games and bigger jackpots. But if you want a cheap, friendly, fun and totally laid back casino, Railroad Pass might be the casino for you.
You’ll find the casino amid picturesque hills when traveling between Henderson and Boulder City. Railroad Pass is close to the Hoover Dam and Lake Mead.
