Few casinos will hit you again better than Santa Fe Station. They were voted Best Blackjack in 2007 by the Las Vegas Review-Journal because of their big selection of Blackjack games.
Santa Fe Station is a very family-friendly resort with lots of fun activities to choose from, including their 64,000 square foot casino. While it looks rustic on the outside, that’s simply to create the look of a colonial Spanish villa. The inside is filled with chandeliers and comfortable leather seating.
Table games include Craps, Pai Gow Poker, Mini-Baccarat, Ultimate Texas Hold’em, Crazy 4 Poker, Deuces Wild and Wild Hold ‘Em Fold ‘Em and of course Blackjack. Santa Fe also has new games like the variation of Craps called Firebet, Instant 18 and Pair Square, a side bet of Blackjack.
Santa Fe also lets you try out table games under development as they are showcased by the greatest gaming vendors. There’s really no reason not to come.
The Santa Fe Station Bingo Room has over 400 seats with very large jackpots, including the Jumbo Bingo Progressive, Countdown Coverall, Cashballs and the Big Three. Bingo starts everyday at 9:00 am and holds sessions during odd hours all the way until 11:00 pm.
You won’t find long lines at the Race and Sports Book, since Santa Fe recently expanded the section. Watch games with crystal clear quality on the new plasma TV’s. They also made the seating more comfortable.
All high rollers in the house get access to the VIP Area. Like many casinos, you can now bet online so you don’t have to rush to the Sports Book to place a bet.
Santa Fe has a keno lounge with rounds that last from 8:00 am to 11:30 pm everyday. The Santa Fe Keno 2 Go lets you watch your Keno game from your house. Like with all the Station casinos, Jumbo Keno Progressive has the largest $1 Jumbo Keno, giving you the Biggest jackpot.
There’s over 2,700 slot machines with a dizzying array of old and new choices. There’s penny-based games if that’s what you’re looking for. But the High Limit players can visit the exclusive VIP Room with Video Poker and Slots with $25 denominations. There’re also hundreds of progressive games and bonus games such as Jumbo Penny, Cash Bonus Blitz II and Jumbo Dollars.
Santa Fe has a 14 table 24 hour Poker Room in a smoke-free room with the only Bad Beat tournament in Las Vegas. The tournaments pay out $10,000 in prizes each month on the first Saturday.
You’ll find the best Poker games including Texas Hold’em, Omaha Hi/Lo and Texas No Limit with $1 and $2 blinds for a minimum buy-in of $50, though you can buy-in up to $300.
Santa Fe awards over $180,000 in cash in the Jumbo Poker Hit. The Jumbo Hold’em Bad Beat Progressive with at least a $200 player share. The losing hand gets $45,000 and the winning hand gets $30,000. Santa Fe splits the rest of the jackpot evenly among the players.
