Terrible’s
There are plenty of casinos that focus their energy on the locals, knowing that they’ll keep coming back to the casino time and time again instead of focusing on over the top themes and flamboyance. Such casinos focus on only the best gaming action – and one of the best is Terrible’s.
Despite its small size, Terrible’s has managed to gen up many gaming options into its relatively modest space. Terrible’s Hotel and Casino is about a mile away from the Vegas strip. There are two floors of gaming action with over 1,000 slot machines, with half of those machines being penny slots. The majority of the slot machines are video, though some are reel machines.
Slots include Adam’s Family, Elvis, Betty Boop, Monopoly Jumble, Wheel of Fortune and Yahtzee. There’s also table games including 3 card poker, roulette, blackjack, baccarat, bingo and pai gow poker. If you’re not sure if you’ll like the games at Terrible’s, try their games out for free online at the Terrible’s website.
There are table games including all the big hits like blackjack, poker, roulette and craps. Terrible’s also has double-deck blackjack and six deck blackjack with the cards dealt from shoes.
However, the table area of the casino can get very crowded. During the very slow periods, Terrible’s might close down the poker and roulette tables.
Sports are shown on 42 inch and 60-inch plasma TV’s. Not only will Terrible’s accept bets on all professional sports in the United States, but Terrible’s is one of the few casinos allowing guests to place bets on international soccer. There’s also horse betting.
Terrible’s bingo has over 190 seats available. Try out the bingo games like dual daub and red super bonanza, with $100,000 or more.
While you might have come here to gamble, Terrible’s is also the perfect place to crash. Terrible’s is often the lowest priced hotel near the Vegas strip and it is surrounded by some excellent restaurants.
Place bets on the most exciting games and biggest races while enjoying drinks and food. With plenty of bets to choose from, Terrible’s remains a favorite among the locals.
