Fitzgerald's Casino & Hotel is in Downtown Vegas at One Fremont Street. The 34-story building is the tallest in the neighborhood and houses 638 deluxe rooms. The hotel attracts its guests with free entertainment, a casino billed as the luckiest in town, and many excel-lent choices for dining. The theme is, understandably, the luck of the Irish.

Casino

The casino occupies two floors - unusual for Las Vegas. Over 42,000 square feet of space provide countless slot machine choices, table games, a poker room and a sports and race book. The twenty tables offer roulette, craps, and of course, blackjack in several betting levels and decks. Texas Hold'em, Caribbean stud and other variations of Hold'em and stud poker are also offered. The smoke free poker room features progressive Bad Beat Jackpot and no-limit Texas Hold'em Tournaments. "HORSE" (a mix of several games) is often scheduled, as well as free poker lessons. Countless popular slot games and video poker are spread throughout the casino. A keno lounge is provided on the second floor.

Entertainment

The Showroom books entertaining acts for guests and visitors like "Larry G. Jones: A Man of 1,002 Voices" (a gifted impressionist), and "Country Superstars Tribute" (a musical celebration of well-known country performers). Other acts include "Spirit of the King," a fascinating Elvis tribute, and the Drifters, performing some well-known classic R&B tunes.

Lounges and Bars

The Fitz keeps three bars going for the pleasure of their guests. There is also the "Lucky Lookout Balcony" that has a full view of Fremont Street and all that goes on there.

Dining

Don B's Steakhouse tempts diners with steaks, seafood and chops, together with all the salads, sides and deserts that identify a proper Las Vegas steakhouse. Molly's Buffet has an all-you-can-eat dinner that includes seafood and pasta as well as many other choices. It has a full menu for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The Shamrock Café features a full menu for the casual guest, at affordable prices. Daily breakfast specials and a prime rib special are offered. For the fast food fan or the snacker, there is also a McDonald's and a Krispy Kreme on the property.
