Pretty much anyone who’s ever visited Sin City will have seen that famous sign quoted above, at some point during their stay. Located at the Southern most end of the strip in the town of Paradise – there is an oasis right opposite that very sign and it is called the Bali Hai Golf Club.

And it really does feel like 'Paradise' when you're at this golf club. Even the transition zones are fantastically laid out – reminiscent of Hawaii with its outcroppings of black volcanic rock and bright white sand – unique views of Vegas’ Strip can be seen from various tee boxes and fairways throughout the course.

But it's not just the scenery that sets this course high on the list of top clubs to ever visit. This also happens to be the only championship golf club on the Strip itself. Following a Schmidt/Curly design, this course runs a very respectable 7,002 yards. Throw in another 7 acres of water features, with 100,000 thousand odd tropical plants and flowers, plus more than 4,000 trees – of which 2,500 are majestic towering palms and you can easily see why this club is lauded with so much praise and respect.

In fact, with it’s fantastically designed course and well presented facilities it’s hardly surprising to find so many prestigious awards and accolades to its name - such as - the “Best High-end Resort Course in Las Vegas” by VegasGolfer or “America's Top 40 Resort Courses” by GolfWeek, and many more.

Being a championship course that is set out over such a grand scale – it is recommended you take along one of their professional caddies to ensure you finish your round in good shape. Despite the very taxing play this championship course presents – with a skilled caddy – a party of four can complete their play in less than four hours.

As one would expect from a club of this caliber, the accompanying ancillary services are top notch just like everything else. Indeed, on top of the awards I've already mentioned, even the Pro Shop here has one too – having been declared one of the “Top 100 Golf Shops in America” for six straight years! Featuring all the best in high end and named brand golf apparel for men and woman of all shapes and sizes, there is also a wide selection of other equipment to meet all your golfing needs and wants. Complimenting this is a boutique like area where you can buy original works of art and numerous tropical plants.

Also within the 32,000 square foot enclosure of the clubhouse is the Cili Restaurant and Bar - Cili serves up only the best in American cuisine with subtle Asian influences. It has even become one of Las Vegas’ hottest lunch time venues for non-golfers. Evening dining there is reserved exclusively for pre-booked group events of 15 or more. Complimentary valet and ample self parking is also available. There is also an outdoor dining area separate from the rest – called The Cabana – it is available to golfers from breakfast through to lunch. What’s more, there is an on-course beverage cart provided as well - yet another service that places this club way ahead of the rest in both the quality and quantity of amenities on offer!

Caddies are available. Five par fives and five par threes. A challenging and beautiful course. (Going south on the Strip, turn right into the entrance, just past the Russell Road intersection. Near Mandalay Bay).
