Situated on the desert peninsular of Summerlin South, the architectural masterpiece of Siena is appropriately connected to the heart of the Glitter Gulch in Las Vegas, via a plenitude of local tour and travel operators. The “Golf City” as Summerlin has become known, is home to a variety of mid to upscale lodging options, including the Best Western and La Quinta brands. An abundance of amenities from restaurant promenades, to the chic Trails Village Shopping Center provide ample delights for day excursions just five minutes from the Siena Golf Club.

Extending 6,843 yards from the back tees, the acclaimed par-72 Siena course is a ripe challenge for championship players, subsequently offering equal opportunities for amateurs, with four tees per box. Large expanses of slender fairway cut between mirror-like stretches of water, promising an eclectic range of demanding shots. Schmidt and Curley also improvised the relatively flat plateau with purpose-built elevations and deep pit bunkers, throwing in a great many contours to give the course its slope rating of 129 on Rye grass.

Even Saturday workers within the Pro Shop have been praised for their enthusiastic assistance and first-class knowledge. The 14,000 square foot clubhouse may seem compact, however it more than holds its own for superior amenities. Visitors are charmed by the course-facing patio extending from the all-day restaurant, as well as the variegated ranch style menu. The Italian-styled Bistro on the South side of the clubhouse presents a more formal dining atmosphere, often with the bonus of live acoustic entertainment.
