Grand Virtual Technology has been in business since 1997. It is based in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The online gaming platform is both complete in every respect, but also easily extensible to accommodate future additions and enhancements. This software is planned so as to be accommodated in iPhones, gaming consoles, and many other mobile environments, not just on PC's and Macs. The software offers over 240 games in three dimensional, high-resolution graphics, with audio. All standard games are included as well as several others exclusive to the platform. Multi-player poker is supported. Grand Virtual also supports several different payment vehicles for each account, including e-wallets, checks, bank transfers and credit cards. The licensor exercises considerable control over its licensees, and requires them to belong to the Internet Gaming Alliance, an organization comprised of Grand Virtual licensees, whose play logs are subject to review, and who must subscribe to a code of conduct and ethical principles in operation.
