Hockey betting works just like baseball betting, except for the bit about the pitcher changes. Goal tender changes do not normally affect action, though a goal tender change will probably cause the line to move. Money lines and totals are open for betting. Rarely is there a “puck line,” which indicates the chance to bet on a spread of goals. (It is probably called a “puck line” because “goal line” would be misleading.)
