115 East Tropicana Avenue, Las Vegas, Nevada 89109

Located a long half block from the Strip on Tropicana Avenue, Hooters Casino Hotel bills itself as an antidote to conventional casinos and theme park resorts. It has 696 rooms including 17 suites. Originally a Howard Johnson's hotel, and then the San Remo, this property has been operated by Hooters since it re-opened in 2006. The main theme is a casual, Florida atmosphere, with tropical accents. The famous Hooter Girls are all over the property, wearing short shorts and tight but droopy tank tops for the easily titillated guest. This is Hooters' only hotel property.

The Casino never closes. It occupies 30,000 square feet and offers 670 slot machines and video poker machines as well as 32 tables for gaming. Slot games offered include Monop-oly, Wheel of Fortune, Megabucks and some exclusively Hooters-themed games. There are over 200 Hooters Girls in the casino on any given shift, some of whom are the dealers, and many of whom bring in the drinks. There is a player's club for accumulating points towards comps and other rewards. Table games include the old and new favorites: roulette, craps, baccarat, blackjack, Caribbean stud, and Pai Gow Poker. The poker room is a venue for tournaments and sometimes even classes. Texas Hold'em, stud and draw poker are avail-able as well as Omaha and hi-lo in a non-smoking environment. A nearby sports book is in Pete & Shorty's Book and Bar, which also serves food and has plenty of TV technology to follow every event. There is also a keno lounge (which the staff says can also double as the Hooters wedding chapel).

Dan Marino's is a fine dining setting that opened together with Hooters in 2006. Owned by the famous quarterback of the Miami Dolphins, it is an informal restaurant, but one that provides a full menu of impressive dinner entrees, served up by, guess what? More Hooters Girls! The Dam Restaurant is always open, and provides a breakfast buffet as well as a full café or coffee shop menu. Pete & Shorty's is the bar in the sports book, but also serves a full menu of lunch and dinner choices in the style of an old tavern. There is also a deli, and one can grab a quick bite at Nipper's, the poolside bar.

The Night Owl Showroom hosts comedy and musical acts of all sorts. On indefinite run is Bobby Slayton, billed as "the Pit Bull of Comedy" and other guest performers will also rotate through the calendar. Gerry McCambridge is a "mentalist" who has a unique show of mind reading and comedy.
Porch Dogs is a kind of casual nightclub, featuring live party and dance music and tropical drinks. It follows the laid-back Caribbean theme of the whole property. It calls itself a "beach club" as it has both indoor and outdoor areas, and edges the pool.

The spa offers massages and beauty treatments of all sorts as well as a full service uni-sex beauty salon and a fitness center with all the equipment for cardiovascular training and weights.

Hooters has 2,800 square feet of space for special events, supported by a meeting and banquet staff that will take care of the logistics and catering plans.

The pools, of course, are the perfect venue for more tropical partying. Hooters offers two heated pools, two hot tubs (one for 12 and one for 60), and a waterfall. The guest will find a large deck, palm trees and sand, and bikini-clad Hooters Girls. Island music and Buffett favorites are played in the background. Hooters has pool parties throughout the summer on weekends.
