12300 Las Vegas Blvd. South, Henderson, Nevada 89044

Opened in 2009, the $1.8 billion M Resort Hotel and Casino once again proved that Tony Marnell II has his eye firmly on the ball when it comes to futuristic development. A behemoth 390-room Mediterranean-inspired casino resort, set across 79 acres on St. Rose Parkway, M Resort represents the collaborative vision of the late Raymond Shapiro and Marnell Corrao Associates – both influential characters in the creation of premier-class Vegas resort developments. From the majestic arced glass South facing facade, to the prominent air of exclusivity, M Resort combines the trademark ingredients of post-modernism and lavish design for the ultimate on-resort getaway.

Few achieve that fine balance between vintage Vegas and contemporary chic, yet M Resort somehow blends the old and new in lavish, yet casual harmony. From the sweeping glass-fronted, wood paneled lobby, to the subdued elegance of its various accommodation suites, the commitment to replicating the upscale glamor of Vegas is evident. Accommodations are varied, yet affordable, ranging from spacious King and Queen doubles with en-suite, to large-scale, self-contained apartments overlooking the 20-acre pool and garden space.

M Resort rooms replicate the iced-chocolate, exposed wood and glass theme of the hotel, featuring paneled walls, vast expanses of mirrored glass and strategic lighting to create a mood for every occasion. In-room facilities include a 42-inch Plasma TV, state-of-the-art Bose Sound System and heated flooring throughout. Floor-to-ceiling arced windows afford spectacular views across the entire Southern stretch of Las Vegas, and on a clear day, one may even spot the Red Rock canyons tinged pink beneath the midday sun. Each en-suite bath and shower room offers the trademark marble free-standing whirlpool tub, as well as an Eco power shower. Larger rooms benefit from a separate vanity area, with twin basins, rear-lit LED mirrors and an additional private shower.

Restaurants at M Resort have proven a major hit with locals, offering six alternative dining environments, as well as a Thanksgiving Dinner To Go service. Italian doesn't get any more authentic in South Vegas than at Marinelli's. With a huge terrace overlooking the Villaggio Del Sole Pool and Entertainment Piazza, Marinelli's manages to create just the right balance between casual and classy. Menus run the gamut of staple Italian mains, including baked ziti and osso bucco. For as little as $10 a head, guests may sample several delectable regional dishes, along with an aperitif. Hash House A-Go Go launched some twelve months after M Resort's opening, yet hasn't wasted a moment in carving its own niche within the mega resort. The Kokomo Meatloaf Sandwich (created with meatloaf, red peppers and cream) is a hit with natives, while their Indiana-style Sage Fried Chicken and Bacon Waffles are just impossible to resist.

Famed for its 50,000 square foot wine cellar and 93 beer variations up at 32 Degrees Raft Bar, M Resort fulfills just about every aspect of wining and dining to be found along the Strip. Entertainment options are one of the key selling points at M Resort. An on-site 92,000 square foot casino boasts over 2,000 slots, 64 tables and a high roller saloon for those seeking higher stakes. Villaggio Del Sole Pool and Entertainment Piazza is epicentral for entertainment, blessed with poolside music venues and sophisticated bars – including the world-renowned Hostile Grape. M Resort's Ravello Lounge hosts a slew of prolific entertainers such as Zowie Bowie and Mark O' Toole, as well as M.F Football Parties each and every Monday. Should you seek a little more romance and relaxation of an evening, head down to M's 15,000 square foot spa, where you'll find the ultimate menu combos of fine wine, holistic therapies and indulgent 21st Century treatments!
