3255 Las Vegas Blvd S, Las Vegas Strip, Nevada 89109

Las Vegas Sands Corporation has built the Palazzo Las Vegas next door to the Venetian Casino Resort and the Sands Expo and Convention Center, both of which it also owns. It is across the street (Sands Avenue) from the Wynn Las Vegas. This luxury resort and casino has 3,025 suites in 53 floors of a tall tower. Six of the suites are, with 11,000 square feet each. Recently Sands has announced the construction of a condominium hotel building on the same property, with 270 units on top of the 90,000 square foot building designated as the home of Barney's apparel store. The Palazzo is due to be open to the public in December of 2007. The condominium addition will be completed in 2009. The Palazzo alone has required the investment of approximately $1.6 billion.

There is direct pedestrian access to the Palazzo from the Venetian and from the Sands Expo and Convention Center. The Palazzo has eight floors of underground parking, enough for 4,000 vehicles.

The combination of the over 1.8 million square feet of convention and exhibition space at the Sands Expo and Convention Center, with all the facilities of the neighboring Venetian and the new infrastructure supplied by the Palazzo makes this complex the largest hotel-resort-convention center in the world. That is, until the nearby CityCenter comes fully on-line in 2009.

The casino will cover 105,000 square feet. The developer is planning up to 80 gaming ta-bles and over two thousand slot machines and video poker machines.

A Theater at the Palazzo provides a large entertainment venue for productions of all kinds, up to and including large concerts and Broadway shows.

The Palazzo will have a spacious health and beauty center including a spa with all the lux-ury amenities and offerings, a fitness center, and a full-service beauty salon.

The Palazzo will have 450,000 square feet of meeting and convention space, which will connect directly to the 1.8 million square feet in the Sands Expo and Convention Center.

The pool deck of the Palazzo will cover almost 7 acres and connect directly with the pool deck at the Venetian.

The Grand Canal Shoppes at the Venetian will be extended into the Palazzo, providing a significantly larger retail area. Plans call for 375,000 square feet of retail and restaurant outlets, accommodating about 80 establishments.
