3655 Las Vegas Blvd. S, Las Vegas Strip, Nevada 89109

In Paris Las Vegas, Harrah's Entertainment brings France to the storied Las Vegas Strip. Obviously its theme is the city of Paris; which explains the half-scale, 540 foot model of the Eiffel Tower, a neon sign in the shape of the Montgolfier balloon, a two-thirds-scale Arc de Triomphe, and a recreation of La Fontaine des Mers. The front facade of the building is reminiscent of the Paris Opera House and the Louvre Museum. This Las Vegas Strip resort offers 2,916 rooms and suites.

The Eiffel Tower is located above the casino, this is a 50-story, half-scale reproduction of the Eiffel Tower, originally built to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the French Revolution. Visit the French restaurant 110 feet up for a breathtaking view. Or take the elevator all the way to the top-floor observation deck 460 feet off the ground. The Louvre façade is located on the casino front and the Paris Opera House façade is next to it. Behind the casino is a recreation of the historic Paris landmark, The Hotel de Ville.

Described as spacious, whimsical and dazzling. the ceiling of the main casino floor is like a Tiepolo-painted blue-sky, punctuated with white clouds. The details are all French. The full complement of 100 table games is offered, as is a separate poker room and numerous high-tech slot machines. The race and sports book, at one end of the casino, is very large, with 265 seats (including the bar next door). Each book seat has its own TV, and there are eleven 8' x 6' big screens. Betting on daily lines, parlays, futures, etc. is available, as are pari-mutuel and some non-pari-mutuel props in the race book.

The top Paris dining venue is the Eiffel Tower Restaurant, located in the tower itself, 11 floors high. Patrons check in at the casino-level desk and then take a glass elevator to the restaurant. The restaurant is known for lobster Thermidor as well as other classic entrées of French cuisine. Les Artistes Steakhouse is reminds one of the art deco style of south Florida or California in the 1930's. House specialties include a gigantesque porterhouse and a rack of lamb prepared on the grill. Seafood lovers are not left out. Seared ahi tuna is highly recommended, an also the whole Maine lobster. Mon Ami Gabi is a traditional French steak-house and seafood restaurant. Gaston Lenôtre is a chef's chef in the pastry world, and he has placed in Paris Las Vegas a branch of his Paris France pastry shop. Le Provençal re-creates the festive and familiar atmosphere of a European village, offering regional dishes and a list of wines from Provençal. Le Village Buffet is organized around dishes from the various regions of

France (Alsace, Brittany, Burgundy, Normandy & Provence). Typical offerings include crepes, of course, and a station for carved meats, another for seafood, and another for rotisserie. There are separate bars for salad, deserts, cheeses, and breads.

Le Cabaret is an open lounge designed to create the feeling of being in an outdoors garden. Live entertainment is provided as guests sit at bistro tables and enjoy drinks under trees festooned with twinkling lights. Napoleon's is a live jazz lounge with Las Vegas' premier champagne bar. Gustav's Casino Bar takes in the expansive view of the casino floor and also offers many built-in gaming machines. Located at the southeastern leg of the Eiffel Tower, Gustav's is a favorite spot for people watching.

The Producers plays at Paris Las Vegas' Theatre des Artes. This Mel Brooks musical has won more awards than any other show in history. In this comedy classic a crooked producer and his accountant cook up a scheme to present a massive theatrical flop that permits them and pocket their investors' money before the curtain falls.

Paris Las Vegas has also created a more intimate venue -- the 220-seat art showroom called the Anthony Cools Experience. Hypnotist Anthony Cools performs regularly there, using his skills for decidedly evil purposes, tapping into the desires and naughtiness of his audi-ence, while remaining careful not to embarrass his subjects. Other headliner acts are some-times booked into this theatre.

Guests of Paris Las Vegas can enjoy top-rated golf at two of the nation's most beautiful courses - Cascata Golf and Rio Secco. Cascata is just 30 minutes from the Las Vegas Strip. It has been named among "America's Best Top 100 Modern Courses" by Golfweek. Rio Secco, one of the best golf courses in Las Vegas, features panoramic views of the Las Vegas valley. The Rio Secco Golf Club is an 18-hole championship course designed by Rees Jones, Golf World magazine's 1995 "Golf Architect of the Year." It is just 15 minutes south of the Las Vegas Strip. Rio Secco is a favorite of celebrities. Tiger Woods still holds the course record of 64.
