211 Flamingo Road, Las Vegas, Nevada 89109

The Platinum Hotel and Spa opened in September of 2007 as a large, luxurious, boutique hotel with no gaming and no smoking. It is located on Flamingo Road, just off the Strip -- a short walk to Bally's, Caesars Palace and Bellagio. The monorail is close by, and the airport is just a couple of minutes' ride to the south.

The Restaurant at Platinum is directed by Chef Brenton Hammer in a contemporary American style that focuses on steaks and seafood, but with unusual ingredients and preparations from all around the world. Many menu items are unconventional creations of Chef Hammer, who is always innovating food designs as the menu evolves. The venue is by the fifth floor pool, with views of the Strip. The restaurant is proud of an extensive wine list. The adjoining cocktail lounge has the atmosphere of a large, but homey great room.

The WELL Spa emphasizes the recapture of youthfulness and the comfort of quiet relaxation. The facility includes private steam rooms as well as the full array of relaxation areas, pools and treatment rooms. One of the treatment rooms and one of the relaxation areas is open to couples. A personal valet attendant will provide snacks and water or tea. All sorts of facials, massages and body treatments are offered. The décor and ambiance of WELL is quiet luxury, intimacy and elegance. The staff's objective is to anticipate every need for the client's total well-being. They call their service, "It's All About You." A salon is located at the Spa and offers nail care, waxing and make up services.

The exercise facility has plasma television screens (called a "Cardio Theater") and the full array of free weights and resistance machines for strength training.

The Platinum Hotel and Spa has prepared meeting and special event space for groups of up to 250 people. This includes five "break out rooms," over 7,000 square feet of dedicated conference space, a 3,340 square foot Rooftop Terrace on the 17th floor with private dining area and views of the city. The pool deck area is also available for social gatherings. There is a business center, and the entire facility has wireless Internet access.

STIR is Platinum's lounge with DJ music and party fun for the evenings. Try edible martinis and enjoy the reverse happy hour later in the night. By day STIR serves as a purveyor of coffee and pastries. The Restaurant at Platinum operates a cocktail lounge with a more tranquil atmosphere. The pool deck has day beds and fire pits for evening parties.

The large indoor-outdoor pool has cabanas, sun-bathing accommodations and a Jacuzzi.
