The Plaza is a large hotel and casino in Downtown Las Vegas, with 1,000 rooms in a tall tower. It has a welcoming casino, fine dining, and entertainment. It looks out over Fremont Street and is part of the "Fremont Street Experience."
The Plaza's 80,000 square foot casino provides the latest in slot machines and video poker as well as table games, a poker room, a keno lounge, a race and sports book, and bingo in a 400-seat facility There is a player's club call "Plaza Play Club" which is their player re-wards or "loyalty program" as it is called. The table games rotate through the most popular ones, including Pai Gow Poker, mini-baccarat, craps, roulette, Let it Ride, and blackjack. In the poker room devotees of Texas Hold'em, Omaha, seven card stud and hi-lo games will find three pan tables and 15 spread tables. The Plaza frequently organizes tournaments for slot machine players, poker players and bingo enthusiasts. The race and sports book is large, with 60 seats for racing and 50 for sports. There are ten large HD TV's and 2 big screens. Lines are set in-house. The race book is one of the most popular in town.
The Center Stage Restaurant has a direct view of Fremont Street from its glass-dome covered venue at the Plaza. The menu is that of a steakhouse, with prime rib, lobster tail and steaks and chops. The restaurant also provides live musical accompaniment. The Plaza's Lucy 7's Buffet has many serving stations in a traditional Las Vegas buffet format. The Plaza Diner will satisfy appetites with omelets, burgers and other comfort food, any time during the day. There is also a food court near the casino with McDonald's, a Subway, No-ble Roman Pizza, and Seattle's Best Coffee. The Great Moments Room, located at the nearby Vegas Club, is a gourmet restaurant with both American and French offerings in a cozy and luxurious dining room. Also at the Vegas Club is the Upper Deck, which boasts the best hamburger in town.
The Plaza books musical acts into its showroom venue, the Vegas Club. Generally, it's a different act each month, and could be jazz, or rhythm and blues, rock 'n' roll or a number of other genres. The Omaha Lounge also has live music frequently. Beyond the Plaza is Fremont Street, with all that it has to offer.
The Plaza offers a beauty salon with full services and a fitness center, equipped with work-out machines and free weights. There is also a jogging track around the rooftop pool. Tennis courts are available for the use of the guests.
Over 6,500 square feet of space is available for meetings and special events. The Vegas Club is a useful venue for theatre-style seating or small tables. Catering details and assistance with presentation equipment is available.
On the roof of the Plaza there is an inviting pool.
The dedicated shopper will find plenty of options in the space just outside the hotel in Fremont Street. Las Vegas Premium Outlets is there as well as many other possibilities that are part of the Fremont Street Experience.
The wedding chapel is near the glass-domed Center Stage Restaurant, with a full view of Fremont Street. Several packages are available, from 2 guests to many. They include all the requirements for the ceremony itself and the celebration afterward. Wedding consultants are on staff
