The Red Rock Casino, Resort & Spa is on the western edge of Las Vegas (14 miles from the Strip), near Red Rock Canyon from which it takes its name. There the guest will enjoy offers views of both the red cliffs and the Las Vegas Valley. At 816 guest rooms, it is a little large to be a "boutique hotel," but it conveys that ambience, with well-appointed rooms, an elegant spa, fine dining, a casino and sophisticated nightlife.

As one of the casinos in the Station Casino group, the casino at Red Rock honors the "Boarding Pass" players card so gamers can accumulate points to receive comp benefits and safeguard winnings. The casino offers more than 60 games, including blackjack, baccarat, craps, poker, and roulette. The poker room is open around the clock and features Texas Hold’em, Omaha, and other favorite games. The race and sports book has giant screen TVs and individual monitors as well as a VIP race section with individual terminals and lines on all major race and sports events.

Red Rock offers plenty of dining options. T-Bones Chophouse is chic to see and delicious to taste. It has an enormous wine cellar as well. The beef is all USDA Prime, aged, hand-cut and cooked over mesquite. The menu also has many other choices including salmon, veal and pork, sauces and 18 side dishes. The Salt Lick Barbecue is a replica of the famous Driftwood, Texas original. The original idea was to replicate wagon train recipes, so the plates and sauces are simple, but tasty. Meats are slow cooked. The décor is stone, with lots of Texas accents. Terra Rossa is a genuine Italian restaurant set in a romantic Tuscan con-text. The Cabo Mexican Restaurant offers authentic Mexican Baja food, salsas and over 130 menu items. The large bar specializes in frozen margaritas. Tides Oyster Bar is a New Orleans-style restaurant with a raw bar. Guests can find pan roasts, gumbo and “Po’ boys” here. Finally, the Feast Buffet purveys freshly prepared food from all over the world in a traditional Las Vegas format.

Performers are regularly booked into the Rocks Lounge, the T-Bones Chop-house Lounge and The Sandbar (Red Rock’s poolside venue). Acts, like Nellie Furtado and Peter Frampton and the Doobie Brothers, come to Red Rock for short runs throughout the year.

The concierge desk can arrange a tee-time for guests at any one of many picturesque and challenging golf courses, both those near the property, and those farther away. They include Bear’s Best, a Nicklaus-designed course, Red Rock Arroyo, Red Rock Siena, TPC Canyons, Angel Park, Paiute Golf Resort and Badlands Golf Club.

Red Rock’s modern Spa provides 35,000 feet of pampering for its clientele. It is adjacent to the pool area and separate from the casino. Decorated in red, cream and brown, the spa invites individual guests or couples to the many and varied treatment rooms. Gender-separate facilities have relaxation areas, steam rooms and saunas. The visitor will find outdoor decks off some of the treatment rooms, lap pool, cabanas and a yoga garden. A variety of mas-sages are offered, from the traditional to the au courante hot stone treatments. Facials and body treatments are also available. The spa is proud to provide a number of holistic options as well: classes on healthy lifestyle and nutrition as well as astrology offerings. A nearby salon offers all the expected hair and nail services including a private styling area with a barber. There is also a fitness area, equipped with cardio machines, weights, a movement studio and boxing ring. Trainers and instructors are available. Spa guests can also book off-site adventure activities such as horseback riding and rafting.

Red Rock has almost two acres of facilities for meetings and conferences. Up to 1,500 per-sons can be accommodated. The spaces were designed to take advantage of their natural setting in Red Rock Canyon and use natural lighting wherever possible. The meeting facilities also have views of the enormous Red Rock pool. This Conference Center was designed by hospitality professionals. It includes 4 ballrooms ranging in size from 5,000 to 20,000 square feet and 10 breakout rooms.

Cherry is the swank nightclub at Red Rock Resort & Casino. Its warm, red atmosphere is inviting to guests as they pass through the red-lit, mirrored tube to the circle bar and then to the heart of the club. The décor was inspired by the canyon outside. The club has VIP areas and couches as well as the Las Vegas stripper pole. A circular dance floor and an all-digital sound network make this an ideal dance location. Cherry also opens to the outside to a big fire pit, a water feature, another island bar, eight cabanas and rotating day beds.

Many of Red Rock’s guests consider the main attraction of the resort to be the three-acre pool, with adjacent smaller pools in the cabana area and Jacuzzis. There is an "interactive" fountain, private pool areas, 19 private cabanas and a beach. And of course, there’s swim-up drinking and gaming, a pool island and a café. The pool area is also a popular entertainment venue for concerts and private events.

The resort offers some shopping convenience, but the serious shopper should plan to go to Canyon Pointe Shopping Center, which is about ½ mile away.

Red Rock provides a peaceful setting for weddings. The professional staff will take care of all the details, offering services in several different wedding packages.
