Santa Fe Station Hotel and Casino is a gaming resort on 38 acres of land in Northwest Las Vegas, about 16 miles from the Strip. The design is reminiscent of a Spanish hacienda. Inside there is a large casino, bowling facilities, theatres for movies and an entertainment venue, in addition to its 200 rooms. It is a property owned and operated by Station Casinos. A multi-phased expansion project has been underway for some time. The next-to-last phase was concluded in December of 2006, and the last phase will be complete in mid-2007. At that time, the new 4949 Lounge and the Tides Oyster Bar will be open.

In addition to dining, gaming and entertainment, Santa Fe Station offers family fun, including Kid's Quest -- childcare presented as adventures for kids. Santa Fe Station also operates a large bowling center 24 hours a day, and a sixteen-screen cinema of the latest technologies, showing first-run movies. There is ample, covered, free parking.

The 64,100 square-foot casino offers nearly 3,000 slot machines and video poker games, including special areas for high-limit slots, progressive games, and 1¢ and 5¢ machines. Players will find forty-six tables for roulette, craps, mini-baccarat and blackjack. Also available are Let It Ride, Pai Gow poker, Crazy 4 poker and Wild Hold'em Fold'em. The casino also provides a separate poker room, offering Omaha, no-limit hold'em and Texas Hold'em. There is also a 488-seat bingo room, a comfortable keno lounge and a 259-seat sports and race book. The book provides a screen span of 114 feet for video options, including big screens. The players' reward system is called "Boarding Pass" and is common to all the Station Casinos.

The Charcoal Room is a fine dining restaurant with a modern décor, a complete gourmet menu and a wine list with something for just about everybody.

Cabo Mexican Restaurant gives diners the chance to specify their own entrée combinations. Flair bartenders serve margaritas while the guacamole specialist prepares this treat at tableside.

The Salt Lick Bar-B-Q is an authentic Texas ribs place, with briskets, links, turkey and other barbecue favorites in plenteous supply, along with all the traditional sides.

The Tides Oyster Bar is scheduled to open as part of the last phase of Santa Fe's expansion, to feature gumbo and "po' boys" as well as oysters and other seafood.

The Feast Buffet feeds guests with recipes from all over the world (Chinese, Italian, Mexican and American).

The Grand Café has a large menu of 120 items or more, and focusing on sumptuous breakfasts, pizzas, pastas, stir fries, and lots of desserts.

Near the race & sports book is the Turf Grill for fast food for those in a rush. A food court with recognized purveyors of fast food fills out the selection of places to eat.

On Tuesdays, the Charcoal Room provides "Wine with Sax," a live jazz accompaniment to its fine dining offerings. Dancing with a top 40´s DJ is also offered within the property on weekends. Set to open in mid-2007 is the 4949 Lounge, a center bar for relaxing conversation and drinks.

The Chrome Showroom has 650 seats for headliner acts and musicians, including high quality blues and jazz performers. Wednesday nights are for blues, Thursdays are karaoke nights, and Friday and Saturday nights the Santa Fe puts on a tribute show to the artist currently known again as Prince, called "Purple Rain."

Santa Fe Station's renovation has increased to over 14,000 square feet the space available for business and social gatherings for up to 900 persons. There are five meeting rooms, a board room, and a large ballroom. Staff support is available to plan the catering, the audio-visual equipment, decorations, configuration and setup.

The pool at Santa Fe Station is large and designed for family fun. There is also a hot tub.
