Built where the old Continental Hotel used to be, at the corner of Flamingo and Paradise, Terrible's Hotel and Casino stands as a popular local favorite with a reputation for friendly service and good value. In fact, uniquely for Las Vegas, people playing certain slot machines in the casino can win free tanks of gas at Terrible's. The hotel has been built and decorated in a northern Italian design. The location is convenient to the strip, and places the patron at the beginning of restaurant row, where some of the city's best eateries are located.
The 45,000 square foot casino offers eight table games including a blackjack shoe game, double-deck, roulette and four craps options. There are 945 slot machines and video poker machines throughout the area. A bingo room seats 195. The race and sports book accepts wagers on all the normal sports and race events as well as on international soccer matches, one of the few places in Las Vegas that does.
The Bougainvillea Café/Rotisserie is really three restaurants in one, with full American, Chinese and Mexican menu options. Terrible's Tequila Chicken is a recommendation for the diner wavering over the many choices. There is a buffet format for eating as well.
The hotel's comfortable and spacious lounge books live entertainment nightly.
The hotel provides fully-equipped workout facilities to its guests without charge, open 24/7.
The outdoor pool is large and inviting, with a sundeck and hot tub attached.
