The casual observer might think that Texas Station is one of the "Station" Casinos and that its dominant theme is the Lone Star State. He or she would be right on both counts. This hotel and casino is in North Las Vegas, and has all the features one expects at a Station Casino, as well as the fun of a place that celebrates Texas. The property has 200 rooms on 47 acres of land, lots of free parking, an 18-screen cinema, a 60-lane bowling center, and Kid's Quest, a supervised play program for kids up to 12.
There are 37 table games in the 91,000 square foot casino, including craps, Pai Gow poker, blackjack, roulette, Let it Ride and three card poker. The poker room is open all the time, is non-smoking, and offers 8 tables of Texas Hold'em in many denominations and Omaha Hi/Lo. There is also live keno and a 495-seat bingo hall. The race and sports book has 263 seats, 180 TV's and 29 large screen plasma sets. Daily lines come from Station Casinos. In the casino the guest will find almost 2,500 gaming machines (slots and video poker) of all kinds, so that he or she will have just about every option desired, including games like Wheel of Fortune and Megabucks. In addition to the movie complex and the bowling center, Texas Station has the Dallas Events Center, a 2,000-seat venue for headline entertainment such as Charley Pride, Merle Haggard and others. The Club Armadillo is a lounge and nightclub that offers dancing to the music of live bands on Fridays and Saturdays.
The Dallas Ballroom at Texas Station has room for 1,100 guests in banquet format (800 guests if there's dancing). The stage area is big enough for a 50-person head table or a full orchestra. The Houston Ballroom is smaller, and can be reconfigured for breakout rooms, smaller dinners, or cocktail parties. Two boardrooms are available, serving up to 20 per-sons. The space is organized into a 40,000 square foot conference center, with room for registration and other pre-function requirements. Lots of free, covered parking is available.
There is an outdoor pool for registered guests.
Texas Station has two wedding chapels that accommodate 100 guests each. They can be combined, if necessary. Private areas for bride and groom are provided. Several wedding packages are available, including all the necessaries for a complete and flawless wedding and reception. The point of contact is the hotel's wedding coordinator.
