Trump

Donald Trump is building two large residential towers just off the Strip in Las Vegas. The top floor of the 64-story Tower One was finished in late May of 2007, ahead of schedule and budget. It contains 1,282 units, all of which have been sold. It is scheduled to open early in 2008. The second tower is nearly sold out, and is scheduled to open in 2011. At 645 feet, the Trump International Hotel and Tower is the tallest residential building in Las Vegas, just a few feet higher than its neighbor, The Wynn. The façade will feature gold-clad glass, accented by white sparkles.

The Trump International Hotel and Tower is a condo-hotel, with both residential condominium units and hotel units. Mainly there are studios, but the 50 penthouse suites have up to three bedrooms. The units are sold fully equipped and decorated with upscale furnishings and appointments, like the Italian marble for the entryways and bathrooms. There will be valet parking, a staff of doormen, and round-the-clock security. The total sales price for tower one was $1.3 billion.

Plans call for the property to have all of the usual luxury amenities of a Las Vegas hotel, with the exception of the casino, shows and nightclubs. Specific details are still being worked out, but the developers have committed to a large and luxurious pool, sundeck and bar combination, a professionally run private spa, fitness center, beauty salon, two gourmet restaurants and meeting and business facilities.
