Whiskey Pete’s

Whiskey Pete’s sits on the Nevada border and so it is either the first chance or the last chance for gambling. The hotel, which has an obvious “Old West” theme, provides 777 guest rooms in twin towers. Whiskey Pete’s also has a video arcade for the entertainment of anyone too young to go to the casino. Outside there is a roller coaster, also for the kids and any brave adults. In addition to its own casino and dining options, it is close to Buffalo Bill’s and Primm Valley Resort, two sister properties that provide more choices for activities, gaming and eating.

The casino covers 36,400 square feet, giving shelter for 1,314 slot machines and several table games, including Spanish 21, mini-baccarat, keno, craps, Let it Ride and, of course, blackjack. There is a 40-seat race and sports book with 5 large screens and lots of smaller TV’s.

The Silver Spur Steakhouse has the renowned onion blossom appetizer, Porterhouse steaks and just about everything else a steakhouse should have. If the patron wants a big breakfast or a traditional American cafe meal, the Trail’s End Coffee Shop will fill the bill. The Wagon Wheel Buffet provides an enormous variety of different dishes and desserts. And for eaters on the run, there’s even a McDonald’s.

There is a 700-seat showroom at Whiskey Pete’s, which has booked many famous head-liner acts over the years. Diamond Rio, a well-known country band, performs there at certain times during the year. Whiskey Pete’s also puts on comedy club acts from time to time, and there is a piano bar for live keyboard accompaniment to a cocktail or two.

Whiskey Pete’s has special facilities and equipment for meetings, and will cater any special event a patron requires. Business services are also provided.

The outdoor pool is equipped with a hot tub and a water slide. Cabanas are available. There is also a pool for small children.

Located just 35 miles south of Las Vegas on I-15.(At the California/Nevada state line) and only
35 miles south of McCarran International Airport.
