The Wynn Las Vegas Resort and Country Club is a casino hotel on the famous Las Vegas Strip, which opened in April of 2005. This $2.7 billion hotel aspires to exceed the grandeur and opulence of all its neighbors. The 215 acre property also includes the Wynn Golf and Country Club, rebuilt out of the old Desert Inn course.

The creator of Wynn Las Vegas, Steve Wynn, collects works of great artists. They are displayed throughout the property. Masterpieces by Johannes Vermeer, Rembrandt, Monet, Manet, Picasso and Andy Warhol have all been hung around the rooms and corridors of Wynn Las Vegas.

The casino also operates twenty-six tables in the poker room with a complete range of games and limits, like Hold'em, Omaha, Hi-Low. Wynn also offers some unique options for slots, like Wynn Megabucks (a ten million dollar penny slot machine), Windfall (a progressive slot machine where 25, $1 or $5 slot players seek jackpots over $100,000), and the Wynn 7 (players can contend for high-hit frequency jackpots up to $1,000).

Alex is a fine dining restaurant that provides a mix of classic French style, Italian spirit and American inventiveness. It may also be the most expensive in the city. Alex has been recognized by AAA as one of only three Five Diamond Restaurant award winners in Las Vegas.

Bartolotta Ristorante di Mare presents Northern Italian masterworks, including specially-prepared fish dishes and also traditional fare. A portion of the restaurant, where tables overlook a lake surrounded by cabana tables, is said to be one of the most romantic spots in Las Vegas.

Daniel Boulud Brasserie offers dishes by a nationally-recognized chef, including tarte pissaladière with onion, and fricassee of Dover sole amandine.

SW Steakhouse boasts such dishes as spaetzle and filet Thermidor.

The Wynn Theater is home to Le Rêve, an aquatic creation of Cirque Du Soleil veteran Franco Dragone. In the Grail Theater guests can see Monty Python's Spamalot, a Broadway musical derived from the motion picture Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Both shows are spectacular for their genres and critically acclaimed.

The golf course is on the property and integrated into the grounds of the Wynn Las Vegas resort. Designed by Tom Fazio, a well-known golf architect and designer of other famous Nevada golf courses, this par 70 world class golf course has 5 Par 3s, 10 Par 4s & 3 Par 5s. Eleven of the 18 holes encounter water.

This is the place to get away from the fast pace and excitement of the Las Vegas scene. The spa offers 45 treatment rooms for massage, body treatments, facials and hydrotherapy. Separate women's and men's facilities include steam room, sauna and whirlpool. A full-service unisex beauty salon is also available.

The Wynn also provides a complete meeting planning staff and facilities for conventions and meetings that include 200,000 square feet of dedicated space: a 50,000-square-foot ballroom, a 25,000-square-foot ballroom, and several fully-equipped board rooms and meeting break-out rooms.

Tryst seeks to provide a unique Las Vegas nightlife experience for patrons of the Wynn Las Vegas. The entry lounge with mirror-covered walls leads to a hall lined in red velvet, leading into the nightclub itself. The centerpiece of the club is a tall waterfall, rising none stories over an oasis. The dance floor opens onto the patio and keeps going out for about 5 yards over a lagoon. By reservation, guests can settle into day beds and seats by the waterfall. Two bars and a VIP champagne room serve the main club.

Two pools are located on the main deck of the Wynn resort, along with a third, European-style bathing pool. They are surrounded by manicured gardens, creating a sense of seclusion. Cabanas and cocktails are available poolside.Guests may play blackjack at The Cabana Bar.

Entering the building, visitors often go first to the Lake of Dreams, where a large, curtain waterfall descends from a mountain facing the strip, emptying into a three-acre lake. Images are displayed on the mountain and the waterfall to produce a show. At other times, the waterfall creates an animated color sequence on the screen.

The Wynn Esplanade displays for sale the designer labels considered to be the world's most elite: Oscar de la Renta, Jean Paul Gaultier, Dior, Cartier and Chanel. Gadget lovers will enjoy Gizmos and at La Flirt, cosmetics and beauty aids are for sale. The Wynn Las Vegas' most well-known store is the Ferrari and Maserati dealership joint ventured with Roger Penske. This showroom is the ultimate tribute to the great Italian carmaker.
