LAX
LAX is one of the more recent, modern, high-tech nightspots, operated by Pure Management (who also built and operate Pure at Caesars Palace). LAX has a sister club in Los Angeles, which explains its name, better than just imagining it is some play on "Luxor." The local entertainment scene considers LAX to be one of the strip's hottest nightclubs, and Strip Magazine evidently thinks so, too, conferring several awards on it. The entrance to the club, like its website, is gothic. The Noir Bar is the first feature you encounter, and then into the main club floors, two of them. The color scheme is red and black with dim lights and gothic accents. The upper floor looks down into the action below, so the club keeps a sensation of unity, even with the two levels.
