Poetry
This relatively new club has supplanted OPM, which formerly occupied this space above the Chinois Restaurant and overlooking the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace. Quotes from a whole range of English-language poets cover the place, from walls to napkins. The "Poe" in "Poetry" can be found in the gothic touches in the décor, reminiscent of Edgar Allen's moods. Video screens are all over. Lots is happening all at once, all of the time -- dancing, conversation in the "Hall of Trees," and partying in the VIP areas. The club is operated by the same management as OPM was, but the Asian theme is gone. Free champagne for ladies on Thursday nights until midnight. Two private balconies are available, overlooking the shops -the "Rockstar Room" (occupancy 40) and the "Red Room" (occupancy 100).

Relaunch by the end of October... my b-day and a much deserved trip to Vallarta to follow. Getting this site done will be pure nirvana.
