Primm is a border town in Clark County, Nevada, sitting on the border between California and Nevada, and bisected by I-15. Las Vegas is 40 miles to the north and slightly to the east. It is sometimes called Primm Valley, the name of a casino there. Ivanpah Dry Lake is nearby, a 35-square mile lake bottom, mainly in California popular for land sailing. There are three casinos in Primm: Buffalo Bills, Whiskey Pete’s, and Primm Valley Resort, all operated by the same company. The Fashion Outlets of Las Vegas can also be found there. An expanded Las Vegas airport has been planned for an area just north of Primm.

Jean is also a small town on I-15 between Las Vegas and Primm, near the state line. It is about 28 miles from Las Vegas and 12 from the border. The Gold Strike Casino is there. The local aviation center offers skydiving.
