Fellini's Ristorantes
Fellini's at the Stratosphere is composed of a collection of small dining rooms, each recreating a different location in Italy- Venice, Rome, Sicily. The menu is like that in Fellini's original location, with tasty garlic cheese bread, calamari, mozzarella, or shrimp cocktail for openers, or perhaps beef Carpaccio, excellently prepared. All sorts of pizzas, traditional and creative, are on the menu, as well as many wonderful pasta dishes, like the penne with lobster and three cheese sauce, the linguine Capriciana and the fettuccine Bolognese Main courses include veal prepared in several ways, or chicken, with eggplant and mushrooms or rack of lamb with mint and rosemary. Crab-stuffed dorado is a chef specialty. Tiramisu and Italian gelati are wise desert choices.
Original Location - The original location, on the West side, started out as a neighborhood restaurant and has kept that charm. Many come for the appetizers, like the chilled prawns with olives, tomatoes and peppers, and the smoked salmon pizza. Conventional pastas are available on the menu, of course, but also unusual choices, like pink vodka rock shimp with mushrooms in fettuccine. A house specialty is osso bucco. All the offerings, from soups to deserts, are the result of many years of attention and great success with locals and tourists alike. Local entertainers like to go to Fellini's for dinner and occasionally they will put on an impromptu performance for the other guests. Hours: Monday-Saturday, 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm (to 11:00 pm on Friday & Saturday); closed Sunday
Sam's Town Location - Fellini's third restaurant adds to the local dining options for the finest in Italian cuisine. The restaurant has a direct view of the waterfall at Sam's Town and the laser and water show. Here there is an inviting bar and lounge area, where on weekends, a live pianist entertains. The menu is much like the offerings at the other locations. Patrons really enjoy the "Scampi alla Veneziana" (prawns sautéed in olive oil and white wine), the osso buco, the New Zealand lamb, and the chicken Alfredo. Ask for the risotto Milanese to accompany the main dish, and be sure to order one of Fellini's famous, rich, authentic Italian deserts. Hours: Monday-Saturday, 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm (to 11:00 pm on Friday & Saturday); closed Sunday.
