Fiamma Trattoria & Bar
Fiamma, Italian for "flame," started in New York and quickly became a great success for restaurateur Stephen Hanson. Fiamma Trattoria is in the Studio Walk of the MGM Grand Hotel. Though presented as a "casual" restaurant, Fiamma is modern, sophisticated and very upscale. Fiamma has four separate areas. One is a café, another a lounge, a third the main dining area (on two levels) and finally a private dining room and "screening" room. Fiamma has initiated a tasting menu that offers family-style service, with a selection of antipasti, main courses and deserts. In 2005 Fiamma won the Epicurean Award for Best Italian Restaurant in Las Vegas.
