Golden Steer Steakhouse
The Golden Steer Steakhouse was founded in 1958 as a small restaurant-bar. Since then, the Golden Steer has acquired the surrounding space ad is now a large, Victorian-era restaurant, somewhat like San Francisco 125 years ago. The décor is laden with artifacts of the Old West. The Golden Steer recalls the days when the rat pack and Elvis were regular customers. The food is genuine Old West Steakhouse. The steaks are large and prepared just the right way, accompanied by Caesar salad and a baked potato, naturally. For over half a century now, the Golden Steer Steakhouse has served USDA Prime Aged Beef, acquiring a reputation for incredible cuts of prime rib, New York strip, and filets. Seafood options are equally broad, fresh and delicious. Some visitors appreciate that it is a one-of-a-kind location, without the dejá vu one gets from sitting in one of the urban steakhouse chains.
Parking is in an adjacent lot.
