Onda
Onda in the Mirage is a local favorite, with Italian cuisine in a casual, provincial setting. The menu is traditional, but there are a few modern Las Vegas touches. The fixed price tasting menu for $30 may be the smartest choice for the undecided. Appetizers, like the traditional olive oil and crostini or the baked cheese and tomato-basil sauces for rosemary bread sticks, are really good choices. Pasta, seafood and meat entrées of all sorts can be ordered, like seafood penne in white wine and lemon garlic sauce or the chicken saltimbocca with prosciutto, mozzarella and sage. Osso buco with risotto and sea bass are other wise selections. Desert are mouthwatering, like the Grand Marnier soufflés and the espresso ice cream with sambuca on top. All breads and pastas are made on the premises.
