Enclosed within an exotic palm tree enclave to the rear of the affluent Mirage Hotel, Siegfried and Roy's enchanting sanctuary lures with an old Vegas charm and wildness, with which no zoo or magician's menagerie can ever really compare. Headlining the marquee at the Mirage Hotel for over 14 years, the daring twosome are best known for outrageous vanishing feats involving Siberian Tigers and majestic African Lions, big cats that comprise just a few of the exotic species hand reared by the duo.

While Siegfried and Roy sadly no longer grace the Mirage stage with their pets, their legacy lives on through many a show and exhibit inspired by their prowess. The success of “The Magic and Tigers of Rick Thomas”, whom made his debut in Las Vegas in 2001 is largely attributed to the pair, while attractions such as the MGM Grand Lion Habitat have also sprung up in the wake of their retirement from the stage. Siegfried and Roy may have bowed out from the glitz of the limelight, however behind the scenes, they are still as devoted as ever to their menagerie of home-reared wild cats. The very tigers you see within the Secret Garden remain the beloved pets of the duo, including Montecore, the tiger responsible for their retirement from the Strip.

Bathed in year-round glorious sunshine, there's no better place than the Secret Garden to watch big cats doing what they love best. Sprawled out beneath an ornate Romanesque pantheon within their purpose-built pool and garden habitat, the dappled Siberian tigers enjoy nothing more than basking in the sunshine - to the delight of visitors. Siegfried and Roy's stripeless tigers are a particularly rare breed and remain the only example of their kind anywhere among the Southern States. With their snow white fur and piercing blue eyes, its hard to believe these majestic beasts are as dangerous as experts purport them to be.

Encompassed by a ring of piled sun-baked boulders and swaying palm trees, the Dolphin Habitat is a distinct departure from the tranquility of the big cat enclosure. The piercing squeals and excited chatter of dolphins drowns out the cacophony of kids leaning across the seating barriers to get a better view. Dolphin shows are the highlight of the Secret Garden experience, playing everyday from 11 am. The Atlantic Bottlenose species are renowned for their impromptu displays of playfulness; whether walking on their tails for food or swimming on their backs, the Mirage dolphin troupe are truly a joy to watch!
