Brad Garrett's Comedy Club
While you’ll know him from Everybody Loves Raymond and ‘Til Death, the giant, deep-voiced Brad Garrett has taken over the Tropicana with his brand new Comedy Club.
Once run by Brad Garrett’s personal hero Rodney Dangerfield, the club has now been redesigned to look like old Vegas, with red curtains and a cozy classic look. Garrett himself chose most of the décor, such as the old photos and posters that stylize the place.
Old-school Vegas works well for a club found in one of the oldest hotels in Vegas, the Tropicana, which has undergone an monumental renovation, making it one of the largest resorts in Vegas.
You’ll find the hottest new stand up comedians performing alongside some of the biggest names in the business. In 2010, comedians like Bob Zany, Rocky LaPorte and Kevin Nealon grabbed the mike. Brad Garrett’s Comedy Club is now perhaps the comedy center of Vegas.
The Emmy award-winning Brad Garrett will not only make scheduled appearances but will show up unexpectedly. This is the only place in the world where Brad Garrett will perform and he’ll sometimes even greet you at the door.
The clubs attracted so much attention that Garrett had to bring in new tables and chairs to accommodate the immense crowds.
Brad Garrett stated that he always wanted to own a comedy club. Opening this club was bittersweet, since the President of MGM gave Garrett his start and Garrett saw those at the MGM as his family, but he couldn’t pass up the opportunity to own his own club.
Garrett’s standup comedy style focuses on the genetic differences between men and women. He finds politics really boring, so you’ll like find humor more focused on the madness personal relationships.
When he does take the stage, his dry and witty style will savagely cut through topics that everyone can relate to. Since he does a lot of the bookings, you can expect to find many of the comedic acts in the same ballpark.
As a service to the comedy industry, Garrett’s on a hunt to find comedians that have enormous potential but are struggling to find a home to perform.
Pay extra and access the VIP seats. Groups often get discounts if they bring in over 15 friends. Guests must be 18 or older.
