Donny and Marie
Reunited in 2008, long-time Las Vegas performers, Donny and Marie can still wow a crowd after decades of polished performances.
Highlighting their unique style of sibling rivalry, Donny and Marie offer an exciting alternative to the standard Vegas list of entertainment with an action packed performance echoing the format of their successful 1970's television variety show, featuring humor, dancing and many of their biggest hits, both as a duo and as solo artists.
Featuring a nine piece band and eight back up dancers, the Donny and Marie Las Vegas variety show features a custom designed stage and multiple video screens to immerse the audience in a multi-media spectacle of sight and sound.
Performing together for the first time in 1973 at Caesar's Palace, Donny and Marie are no strangers to Las Vegas, and it's clear throughout the show that both performers have enjoyed the almost four decades of performing. With the large video screens behind them showing photos of them in their younger days, Donny and Marie belt out the songs that made them famous.
Perhaps best known for their work as a duo, both Donny and Marie are talented solo artists, and highlight their solo talents and successes throughout the show.
Marie's solos include a set of Broadway hits and an operatic rendition of "Pie Jesu", and gets a bit nostalgic as she sings "Paper Roses", a song that reached the No. 1 spot on country charts when she was only 13, while Donny's solos include his 1989 hit, "Soldier of Love", a Stevie Wonder Medley, and his 70's ballad, "Puppy Love".
Known to interact with the audience throughout the show, Donny and Marie love audience feedback, and are sometimes available for VIP meet and greet after the show.
With table and booth seating and a limited occupancy of only 750, tickets sell out fast for their performances at the traditional Vegas styled Flamingo Theater, and reservations are recommended. With tickets ranging in price from around a hundred dollars to well over two hundred dollars, excellent seating is available in all price ranges, making earlier ticket purchases with wider seating options an absolute must.
Delivering up another hit variety lineup, the performance lasts about 90 minutes, and will feature some of their most popular duets such as "Make the World Go Away", "Puppy Love", "Morning Side of the Mountain" and "I'm Leaving It All Up to You", before closing with their signature song once used to end their television show with, "May Tomorrow Be a Perfect Day".
Audiences looking for a family-friendly show will be delighted, and fans looking for the Donny and Marie they knew in their younger years, will not be disappointed. This performance delivers everything to everyone - Las Vegas style.
