Hitzville The Show
If crooning ballads, doo wop music and crystal-voiced divas with big hair is your thing, then head on over to the V Theater inside the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino, because you're in luck with "Hitzville - The Show".
Step back in time with the sounds of "Hitzville - The Show" and let the cast remind you what it was like when a suited quartet could make girls swoon, and female singers with bouffant hair and white gloves ruled the radio waves.
Motown might not exist as a label anymore, but the legendary sounds of its biggest names come through loud and clear by the cast of this nostalgic performance, with Detroit native Jin Jin Reeves headlining the stunning cast of performers and accompanied by a live band composed of musicians that have worked with legends such as Diana Ross, Stevie Wonder, and Gladys Knight.
A talented singer and songwriter in her own right, Reeves brings both the smooth sounds and the big booming voices of diva stars from the past alive. There's no mistaking the clear sound of Tina Turner when Reeves sings "Proud Mary", or the clarity of the Supremes, though Reeves is always quick to rightfully point out the strength of all the cast members and the astounding performance by the band; no cast or band member does less than Reeves to make this performance an absolute hit.
Featuring a male quartet and a harmonizing female trio, "Hitzville - The Show" is as visual as it is musical. Bringing more than just the sound of Motown to life, the cast perfectly recreates the style, moves and dress of Motown's biggest performers, including Tina Turner's famous fringed "Proud Mary" dress, the coordinated suits of The Temptations and The Four Seasons, and the svelte sheath dresses worn by the Supremes.
Having earned a standing ovation from music industry giants such as Michael Jackson and famed music producer and founder of the Motown record label, Berry Gordy, Hitzville will have you out of your seat and dancing in the aisles with tunes like "Stop! In The Name of Love" and The Temptation's "Get Ready".
Vip tickets with front seating are available, including a VIP line pass to meet the cast after the show. Reservations and early ticket purchases are recommended, as this performance often sells out fast. Meal packages are also available with participating restaurants and can be purchased with tickets, and a full bar is available at the theater.
Undoubtedly the best Motown music variety show to hit Las Vegas, this is one show you don't want to miss. You and your dancing shoes will be thankful you went.
