X Burlesque

Burlesque is one of the great attractions in Las Vegas and one of its most enduring symbols. Thankfully, there are shows like X Burlesque at the Flamingo that carry on this Vegas tradition with distinction.

E! named the X Burlesque one of the 12 sexiest shows. The creators – husband and wife team Matt and Angela Stabile, constantly aim to make the show even sexier, edgier and to infuse it with more energy each tine out. They’ll certainly steam up your night.

X Burlesque employs a bevy of talented, classically trained topless dancers. The dancers perform close to the audience and even like to go out into the audience and interact with the crowd.

The show focuses less on traditional burlesque and more on mystique of the contemporary strip scene with plenty of pole dancing. But the show still draws on classical burlesque elements. With performance names like Sweet and Innocent and Chica Caliente how can you lose?

In X Burlesque also boasts plenty of acting, skits, and choreographed dance moves. The show is even humorous at times. And of course, you can expect to see traditional feather dancing. You’ll find the performers using all sorts of props such as guitars, lollipops, feather boas and even a bathtub.

Playing tribute to the burlesque’s long history, the shows incorporate various themes and touch on common sexual fantasies.

The stage is a refreshingly simple affair with candles and minimal lighting, making the show feel like a real old-fashioned burlesque. Yet, the venue also has a plethora of screens with sexy images to heat things up.

The show carefully selects music that really compliments the performances, with a range of music choices including country and rock.

There’s nudity in the show, so it’s only for those 18 or older, but the nudity is tasteful, with only brief glimpses of the dancers breast leaving far more to the imagination – as good burlesque should.
