The Library
While there are a lot of strip clubs in the more touristy areas of Las Vegas, The Library really likes to party with the locals.
When you enter, the first things you’ll see are a couple of bookshelves, but don’t worry, the only things you’ll have to study are the girls.
The girls take it off on one of three stages. They pole dance and will also dance in a shower area topless. Each girl dances through about two songs. While not a completely nude club, this topless dive bar let’s you drink, falling in line with Vegas’ laws prohibiting alcohol in full nude clubs.
The girls don’t just dance, but like to chill and talk. Patrons sound surprised at how intelligent some of the girls are. Well, what would you expect at The Library?
The place has a calm and relaxed atmosphere that’s much cleaner than other strip clubs, but at the same price. The girls don’t push you into more expensive buys; instead hoping you’ll come back. They’re nice girls. For example, Cherry wrote in her bio that she likes photography, cooking and no inhibitions. The club gives you a break from the high pressure found at some other clubs that act like it’s a lunch rush at the local deli.
If you can get to the club between 4:00 and 5:00 pm, there’s no cover charge. Otherwise, locals pay as little as $5 and non-residents pay as little as $10. Police, firefighters, the military and ladies get in for free. The website also offers a free coupon. You might even be able to bargain your way in for free if you buy a drink immediately.
Lap dances don’t cost too much, at $20 a dance. While there’s a $125 VIP room, the girls don’t push it. Sit back and enjoy beer and drinks for as little as $3. Or you can buy a bottomless mug for $20, served to you by waitresses dressed like librarians.
Frequent visitors to The Library might want invest in the platinum card for as low as $250, which gets patrons exclusive access to a private dancing room, an archive room where patrons get better lap dances and a table or booth every time they come in, without a reservation. The VIP card will only get you the archive room and lesser discounts, but it costs as little as $20. These perks obviously benefit the regulars more than the come-and-go tourists.
Reserve The Library for a bachelor’s party. In fact, Vegas locals voted The Library #1 for bachelor’s parties. They’ll take any size party. They’ve also got a pool table in the back room in case of you want to hustle someone, but, then again, that’s probably not what you came in for.
Other Las Vegas strip clubs might have more extravagant designs, like Larry Flint’s Hustler Club, more girls like at Sapphire, and gimmicks like the Cirque de Soleil aerialists dangling from silk and choreographed dance numbers found at Club Paradise. But these clubs also come with a much larger cover charge and girls who expect a whole lot more.
The Library is secure. Good lighting and security cameras will watch your car for you. Or take advantage of the complimentary VIP shuttle service.
