A world of fantasy and fun, packed into a hotel space far removed from the paradisaical resorts striving to out-do one another with lavish dining facilities and spas; Treasure Island Resort is a place where your imagination can run as wild and free as the kids in the outback, ship-themed pool. For over ten years, Treasure Island wowed guests with an exuberant free show known as the “Battle of Buccaneers”. Sail-swinging pirates armed with swords and rum provided 30 minutes of comedic, dramatic entertainment in a show that was billed the next best thing to Cirque de Soleil. In 2010, the creative production team at Treasure Island introduced a brand new swashbuckling show, centered around the capricious mythical maidens of the sea – The Sirens.

Beguiling and beautiful, with the voices of angels, the Sirens will lure you into a bewitching tale of entrapment and lust, seasoned with a few plucky battles with the all-male crew of “The Bull”. The unfortunate band of pirates are lured into the turbulent waters of Siren's Cove by the sound of their song; a music of such sweetness, no man can resist. With a 40,000 watt sound system and speakers strategically positioned throughout the outdoor theater space, they're not the only ones who'll feel the effects of the Sirens' vocal efforts.

Fodors dubbed the “Sirens” show the embodiment of a theatrical lovechild, where “Pirates of The Caribbean meets Saturday Night Fever” and dragged it screaming into the 21st Century. In truth, it's far more than that. The huge outdoor theater spans an area in excess of 200,000 square feet; a multi-million dollar set replete with two opposing 88 foot galleon ships kitted out with canons; a huge custom-made Chopper motorbike and two huge pools, with a backdrop of old Venetian-style buildings. A myth as old as our seafaring ways, the story unfolds with the unfortunate pirate captain of “The Bull” being taken hostage aboard the Siren ship - “The Song”. Awakening as if from a trance, the captain attempts an escape, only to be besieged by an army of sirens, who form a singing dancing ring around their captive. His fellow buccaneers aboard “The Bull” hatch a plan to rescue their captain and a deafening gun-fight ensues with realistic canon fire and explosions of flames aboard both galleons. Fearing their ship to be unstable, the buccaneers flee, launching themselves from the bird's nest into a huge stunt-pit pool below.

During the finale, a steady ream of fireworks engulf “The Bull” clouding the galleon in sheaths of smoke and simulated flames, until finally the ship sinks beneath the rippling waves. Triumphant, the sirens launch into a string of victorious songs, accompanied by a high octane dance finale, almost as spectacular as the fireworks. Repeated four times nightly throughout the year, “Sirens at T.I” has fast become one of Las Vegas' premier show experiences. Short of the “Pirates of The Caribbean” rocking up in Vegas, this is the next best thing – and it's free!
